Community Peace Officers

Cycle safely on Town pathways
Cycling is good for you and good for the community. But there are some rules you must follow for the sake of safety:
Community Peace Officers enforce the Traffic Safety Act and other provincial traffic regulations, with priority given to school and playground zones, high compliant areas, and locations where officers observe numerous infractions. Officers also work with the RCMP and other enforcement agencies on the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) to improve public safety and patrol highways 1A and 22 within town limits.
